Capsicum- 1 big
Tomatoes- 3 no
Onion- 1 medium
Mustard seeds and jeera- 1 tsp each
Turmeric- pinch
Salt- to taste
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Oil- 1tbsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves- 1tbsp chopped
Ginger-1 inch slice
Garlic- 2 pods
All you need: A vessel and spatulla.
Preparation time: 15mts.
Preparations:
1. Wash and chop the tomatoes, capsicum into small slices and keep them aside.
2. Wash and chop the onion and coriander leaves, ginger and garlic.
Method:
1. Heat oil in a vessel, add mustard seeds when they crackle add jeera, turmeric and fry a minute.
2. Add garlic, ginger slices, onion and fry till they become transparent.
3. Now add capsicum slices and fry for 3mts by covering with lid.
4. Add chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook for 3mts by covering with the lid. Stir in between.
5. Add salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder, mix well and close the lid.
6. Turn off the stove, garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.
That's all. The dish is ready to be served.
Note: This can be served as a side dish with plain rice or chapathi's
