Boiling the Milk

Many people think that boiling the milk is very simple, but very tedious at the same time. Because when we are cooking or doing some other work, most of the times, we forget that we are boiling the milk, and there are chances to over flow and spoil your kitchen cook top and smells horrible until you clean the kitchen.

Tip: One simple trick is to boil the milk in microwave by setting appropriate time. So that milk gets boiled and there won't be any loss of milk.

Tip: Take a broad or heavy bottomed bowl or vessel, just take a drop of oil or ghee, apply at the top of the vessel on all the inner sides in circular motion. Basically there should be a thin oil coated line on top of the vessel. So when you boil milk, it won't overflow. Since you have applied oil to it. So you can check and turn off the stove once the milk comes to boiling point.

Sometimes when you boil milk a thin layer of milk will form at the bottom of the vessel, and its very hard to wash the vessel after it gets dried. So to avoid that there is a tip

Tip: Just wash the vessel or bowl by running under a tap, remove the excess water but don't rub with a cloth or anyting. Eventhough you have removed excess water, there will be a thin water layer in the vessel on all the sides. So now you pour the milk in it and boil it. The milk layer won't form because of the water layer. This is the beautiful tip for all my viewers.

Some people will make ghee at home. They will daily collect the milk fat layer which will form at the top of the milk after boiling. There is a tip to get more of the milk fat.

Tip: After you boiled the milk just leave the vessel without shaking for sometime. After that don't cover the vessel with a lid or anything. Just take the milk fat from the top. If you cover the vessel the milk fat will melt and mix with the mlik itself. Hope this tip also will be definitely useful for my viewers.

Thanks.
