I prepared a vanilla flavored cake using Pillsbury cake mix which will be available at any American stores. There are many variety of flavors like chocolate, strawberry etc, so that u can try your favorite one. But the process to prepare the cake is similar to this recipe. Just the flavour of cake mix is different. It is very simple and made in 30mts.
All you need: Cake baking tray, Oven, Aluminium foil, Grinder.
Ingredients:
Cake mix- 1/2 pkt
Eggs- 2 no
Oil- 1 cup(medium)
Butter- 1/2 cup(medium)
Sugar- 2tbsp
Cashew nuts- 2tbsp
Apple or Banana- 1 medium
Aluminum foil- required to cover the baking tray.
Method:
1. In grinder, add cake powder, eggs, oil and run the grinder for once.
2. Melt the butter, add it to the grinder, add sugar and blend again.
3. Peal the apple or banana and slice them and add to the grinder and blend as a soft batter (abt 5mts). or u can cut then into very small chunks and add directly to the cake mix before baking.
4. Cut the cashews into very small slices.
5. Take baking tray, cover with aluminium foil and tight it on all the sides of tray so that the cake mix won't leak outside. Pour 1tsp of oil on the foil, spread on all the sides of tray.
6. Pour the finely blended cake mix in the tray, add cashew nuts (add apple or banana chuncks if u haven't added while grinding), mix well with a spoon.
7. Preheat the oven at 360F(farenheat) for 5mts, put the cake tray in it and set the oven cooking time to 30mts and close the oven door. (The time may vary for your oven)
8. Once it is done, remove the cake tray from the oven (Becareful the oven is really very hot). Leave it aside for 5mts. Then cut the cake and eat it.
Note: To check weather the cake is done or not, dip a sharp knife or fork in the cake and remove, if the cake mix does not stick to it, then it is done. If it hasen't done just put the tray in microwave oven for 2 to 3mts and let it cool.
U can also decorate the cake with the cream which is also called froasting.
Thanks for watching the recipe. Please let me know your comments on it.
