All ladies and working women are worried that everyday preparing dosa, idli is little boring job, also some of the tiffin items will take more preparation time. But this recipe will hardly take 10mts to prepare. Also bachelor people will be eagerly waiting for a easy recipe. So please give a try and let me know your opinion on it.
Ingredients:
Bread slices- 5 no
Butter mlik- 2 cups
Suji- 1 cup
Onions- 1/2 cup
Tomatoes- 1/2 cup
Cilantro- 2tbsp
Ginger- inch slice
Green chillies- 2 no
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- to taste
Turmeric- pinch
Oil or butter- for frying
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
All you need: A dosa skillet, spatula, a small spoon.
Preparations:
1. Chop the onions, chillies, ginger, cilantro, tomatoes very finely and keep them aside.
2. Slice each bread into 2 pieces.
Method:
1. In a bowl, add all the chopped ingredients, add chilli powder, salt, turmeric, garam masala and mix well.
2. Now add suji and butter milk to the bowl and mix well. The batter looks like thin dosa batter.
3. Keep it aside for 10mts. So that all the ingredients will be properly mixed up.
4. Now take a bread slice, apply the suji batter on both sides of it with a small spoon.
5. Mean while heat the dosa skillet, add a spoon of oil or butter, spread it and keep the batter applied bread slice on it. sprinkle oil on outer side of each slice. Let it fry on both sides till golden brown colour.
6. The same way fry all the bread slices and serve hot.
It goes very well with ketchup, ranch or can be taken as it is. The yummy yummy "Suji buttermilk bread toast" is ready to eat.
Note:
1. Apply the suji batter on top of bread slice just before you fry it on skillet. Otherwise bread slice becomes very soft and mashed up.
2. You can make little variation by adding grated carrot, cabbage or grated paneer but try if you have more time. Otherwise the above recipe itself perfect.
Thanks for watching the recipe. Bye.
