Fried Idli- made in no time with left over Idli's

Fried Idli is a very simple dish made of left over Idli's. But it taste great.









Ingredients:
1. Idli's- 1 cup (slice into cubes)

2. Salt- for tatse

3. Oil- 2tbsp

4. Hing- Pinch

5. Mustard seeds- 1 tsp

6. Jeera- 1 tsp

7. Curry leaves- 5 no

8. Green chilli- 2 no

9. Red chilli- 2 no

10. Coriander leaves- for taste

11. Urad daal- 1tsp

12. Chilli powder- 1 tsp

13. Potato- 1/2 (small)

14. Onin- 2 (medium)

15. Lemon juice- 1 tbsp

16. Garam masala- 1 tsp

Preparations:
1. Slice the Idli's into cubes, keep a side

2. Chop the green chilli and coriander leaves

3. Peal the Potato, slice into small pieces

4. Chop the onions into long and thin slices


Method:
1. Heat the oil, add hing and mustard seeds. When they started spluttering add Jeera.

2. Add Urad daal, curry leaves, green chillis, red chillis, fry for 2mts.

3. Now add chopped onion and Potato slices and cook till they are soft and transparent.

4. Add Idli cubes, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala, lemon juice and cook for 3mts .

5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.



So no more wastage of Idli's or left over Idli batter. It is made just for change of taste. very easy to preapre. You can make any variations by adding or avoiding the ingredients as you wish.
