Mysore Bonda

Mysore Bonda is my favorite snacks from my childhood. I remember that my dad used to get me this snacks whenever I ask him to get. I love you so much dad... This is my husband's favorite too. It is very delicious and can be made in 15mts. Also all the ingredients are always at our kitcen so if some guests comes, no need to worry, u can just prepare this Bonda, serve hot with cup of coffee. They will enjoy and will apreciate ur recipe too...

So here is the recipe for it....

Ingredients:

Maida- 1 cup
Yogurt(Sour)- 1/2 cup 0r as needed
Salt- for taste
Oil- for frying
Green chilli- 2tbsp
Ginger- 1 tbsp
Ciantro- 2tbsp
Curry leaves- 1 tbsp

Preparations:

1. Chop onion, green chilli, ginger, curry leaves and cilantro very very finely.
2. Yogurt should be sour, it can be home made or store baught one. Preferably home made one will be more tasty. We use only yogurt to mix all the maida flour (If u want, u can use little amount of water also).

Method:

1. In a bowl, add maida, yogurt, and finely chopped chilli, ginger, cilantro, onion etc, add enough salt and mix all together very well.
2. The batter should be sticky and tough. It should not be too thin. If the batter becomes too thin, add extra maida to it and mix again very well.
3. Heat oil for frying in kadai, check the heat, it should be on medium high flame.
4. Take little portion of batter and drop all balls in hot oil, fry on both sides till golden brown colour.
5. Remove from the oil and put them on tissue paper so that all the extra oil will be observed by it. Repeat the same process for all the batter.
6. Serve hot with coconut chutney or putnala chutney.

Very easy and delicious Mysore Bonda is ready..

Please post your comments on it. Thanks for watching the recipe..
