Idli vada (Idli bonda)

















Idli vada is basically made of Idli batter. When the Idli batter left over very little then u don't want to waste it. This is perfect one, so that the left over batter is used and also it taste good. So ur evening snacks is ready in half an hour.
Ingredients:
Idli batter- 1 cup
Rice flour- 4tbsp
Suji- 2tbsp
Salt- for taste
Green chilli- 5 no
Curry leaves- 4 no
Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
Green onion- 1/2 cup
Ginger - 2tsp(grated)
Onion- 2 big
Oil- for frying
preparations:
1. Chop the onion, curry leaves, green onion, cilantro very finely.
2. Wash, peal and grate the ginger.
3. Mix idli batter with rice flour and suji without adding any water.
Method:
1. Add all the ingredients to the Idli batter mix, don't add any water, the moisture of batter itself sufficient. Check the salt add it if required.
2. Now the batter is ready, meanwhile heat oil for frying in kadai.
3. Wet your palms with water, take little portion of batter and check weather u can make small vada out of it, if batter is very loose, add extra rice flour and mix well.
4. Now make some vada's and put them in hot oil, fry on both sides till golden brown colour, remove from the oil once they are done.
5. Arrange all fried vada's on top tissue paper so that extra oil will be observed by it.
6. The same way prepare all the vada's and fry in oil.
7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and ranch.
