Tomato currry with Peas

Tomato curry is my favorite dish which can be made in 10mts. It is very easy to prepare but rich in taste.







Ingredients:

Tomatoes: 3 large
Onion- 2 big
green chilli- 2
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Salt- for taste
Turmeric- pinch
Hing- pinch
Green peas- 1/4 cup(optional)
Ginger, garlicp aste- 1tsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Jeera- 1 tsp
Urad daal- 1 tsp
curry leaves- 5 no
coriander leaves- 1/4 cup
garam masala- 1 tsp
sugar- 1 tsp
Oil- 2 tsp

Preparations:

1. Wash and chop the tomatoes.
2. Chop the onion, green chilli and coriander leaves.
3. Wash the green peas.

Method:

1. Heat oil in the pan, add hing, mustard seeds when they pop up, add jeera.
2. Add urad daal, curry leaves, ginger,garlic paste, stir well and cook for 2mts.
3. Add chopped onion, cook till transparent.
4. Add finely chopped tomatoes, salt, chilli powder, daniya powder, sugar and mix well. Cook till tomatoes become soft.
5. Check the salt, add garam masala powder, mix well. Add water if required.
6. Switch off the stove, add chopped coriander leaves.
