Okra Fry

Okra(Bendakaya) is a great dish. We can make subji, pulusu, kozhambu, sambar, fry or anything with okra. Now I am posting a simple fry by using the "vepudu karam" which I have posted previously. It can be made with less ingredients.

Ingredients:

Okra- 1 cup
Jeera- 1 tsp
Turmeric- pinch
Oil- 2tbsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- for taste
Vepudu karam- 1 tsp

Preparations:
1. Wash and chop the okra into small slices.

Method:

1. Heat oil in the pan, add jeera and turmeric, fry for 30sec.

2. Add finely chopped okra, stir well and cook abt 5mts without covering. Stir in between.

3. When they are half done, add salt, chilli powder, vepudu karam, mix well and cook till okra become little crispy.

4. Switch off the stove and serve hot with rice or chapathi.

Note.
1. It can be preserved for 3 days.
2. U need not add any masala's if u have already prepared vepudu karam.

Thanks for watching the recipe.. Let me know ur comments.
